Toonie Makers  – P5-P7 – Tuesdays 5pm-6.15pm

A great introduction to Toonspeak – games, movement, dance, drama. It’s a soft intro session into drama but a lot about having fun and making friends.

Word of Mouth – S4 onwards – Wednesdays – 6pm-7.30pm

Workshops will work towards skill sharing, building empowerment and confidence in performance poetry and spoken word – each participant will be given their own platform to express and create words and themes that are meaningful to them. Participants will create, redraft and rehearse their own unique piece of work to be performed live. The group works with acclaimed artists Cat Hepburn and Kevin P. Gilday of Sonnet Youth.

Theatre Makers – S1-S3 – Wednesdays – 6.30pm-7.30pm

This is the first step to really getting involved in drama. The group looks at working with scripts and devising. The group will be working together towards a performance based project – last term the group worked on an amazing national project called Positive Stories for Negative Times – https://positivestories.scot/  – plans for this term will be discussed with the group at first session.

Theatre Makers + – S4 onwards – Thursdays – 6pm-7.30pm

Workshops focused on looking at wider aspects of performance, working with text, creating and devising theatre and upskilling participants. Last term the group also worked on Positive Stories for Negative Times and they worked on creating a new performance piece for it.
