In line with the ‘route map’ framework from the Scottish Government, our BCDC base and office remains closed to the public and our usual programme of Toonspeak activity suspended.
Toonspeak is continuing with our current programme of digital work until the 18th of September after which we are taking a break before we make any further announcements about the programme and groups going forward.
Please see our FAQs page for more information.
What we do know at the moment is that we will not be able to re-start our building based groups in this term. The different things that need to fall into place before we can get up and running in our spaces:
- BCDC is able to re-open to the public
- Other spaces we deliver our work are able to re-open to the public and accommodate us
- Toonspeak office is able to re-open for staff
- We have looked at safety and put measures in place to keep our staff and participants safe following the government guidelines
We will be in touch with our participants with the programme from October-December when that is available. We know this will be a revised programme and some of our classes will be offered digitally so please make sure you have completed our new Digital Consent Form so that we have your permission (or a parent / guardian’s if you are under 16) to take part in online activities. We will only be able to sign you up for any sessions once we have this completed form.
