GRANDweek 2012

Toonspeak worked with 27 pupils from Eastbank, Parkhill and St Andrews Secondary Schools to devise a performance, in partnership with NHS Health Improvement, for GRANDweek 2012 (Getting Real About Alcohol ‘n’ Drugs) which raised awareness of alcohol issues. Autumn Falls used young people’s ideas to tell the story of Colette and her older brother, Anton’s experience of drinking at a waterfall and consequence of their actions. Autumn Falls was performed throughout GRANDweek to over 1000 third year secondary pupils. The cast was shortlisted for a Young STAND Award in February 2013.
